Junior Designer/Developer (mountain view)

We're a small design / interactive company located in San Francisco (presidio), working exclusively with Ribbit, an amazing up-and-coming startup company, located in Mountain View.

Our main focus at Ribbit includes branding, web design/development/architecture, html, advanced css development, strategy consulting, performing and deploying updates to existing websites.

We're looking for a talented junior designer/developer (part-time, contract based) to work with the principals doing design, development, website updates, assisting creative director in finalizing work under strict deadlines, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• HTML/CSS: hand coding please! (no Dreamweaver developers)
• Experience in Photoshop: You know how to design & layout websites in Photoshop, from scratch
• Knowledge of Adobe Flash: Our design constructs require basic knowledge and workings of Adobe Flash
• Browser Compatibility: You should be able to test and troubleshoot compatability issues across various platforms & browsers.

Bonus Qualifications:

• PHP/MySQL: it would be awesome for you to have these, but not necessary
• Flex: again, it would be amazing if you know how to do this, but if not, no worries

As a part-time contractor, the position requires 50% of the time spent working in your own environment, and 50% at Ribbit headquarters in Mountain View.
